Whatcom Falls Park
Dogs are allowed off-leash along the Waterline Trail between the Water Treatment Plant and Bayview Cemetery and the trail that runs from the Waterline Trail to Lakeway. Signs are posted.
Post Point Treatment Area
The field, trails and lagoon water designated area next to the sewage treatment facility.
Sehome Hill Arboretum
All secondary trails. Dogs must be on leash on the main trails.
Little Squalicum Park
All trails plus the water. (Note that this creek may contain hazardous chemicals)
Bloedel Donovan Park
Dogs are allowed off-leash during daylight hours from October 1 to April 30. From May 1 to September 30 off-leash times are 6am to 10am only. The beach area is open for dog water exercise during the off-leash times.
Chuckanut Mountain: Outside of Larrabee State Park.
**All dogs must be on leash at all times unless in an area designated for dog exercise and training. Owners/handlers must pick-up any animal waste left by their dog before leaving the area. Owners/handlers must have in their possession the equipment necessary to remove the dog's waste. Dog owners are responsible for the behavior of their animals and must have complete voice control of their dog to be off-leash.
Restricted Areas - No Dogs Allowed
Areas where dogs and domestic animals are not allowed due to health and safety concerns, heavy use by the public and preservation.
Park Playgrounds: All park playground equipment areas.
Boulevard Park: All grass and trail areas except the path along the parking lot.
Lake Padden Park: Swimming beach area
Bloedel Donovan Park: Swimming beach area after 10 a.m. from May 1 to September 30.
Cornwall Park and Fairhaven Park: Spray parks
