Lake Padden Golf Course and Bellingham Golf & Country Club are both 18-hole courses located within the city limits of Bellingham. Three more 18-hole courses are located within 5 miles of the city including the Sudden Valley Golf Course which was given a "4 Star" rating by Golf Digest.
In addition, two of the top public golf courses in the State of Washington are located in Whatcom County, a short drive from Bellingham. Semiahmoo Resort operates both award-winning 18-hole courses, Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club and Loomis Trail Golf Club.
